It was wonderful to start Holy Week together yesterday as we celebrated Palm Sunday. I was particularly impressed that we managed an outside broadcast on our livestream! If you missed it, you can catch up here. Our journey has only just begun and you can join with us during the week in our other Holy Week services. A reminder that we have our usual 9am and 10:30am services on Easter Sunday and not a Dawn service which we will be thankful for as the clocks go forward next weekend!

I talked this morning about putting down our expectations of Jesus and discovering him anew in our Holy Week journey. I attach a resource from my Spiritual Director with readings and pictures for you if you would find it helpful.

For your diaries going forward, please note that the monthly Prayer Gathering is on the 9th April at 8pm (not the 2nd April). It will be our first one of the vacancy and we would love to have you join us as we continue to seek God in this season for our community. As usual it will be an informal time of worship, prayer and listening to God.

I was encouraged by the large number that completed the survey for the Church Wardens as they lead us through the process of finding a new vicar. It is so important that all voices of our community have the opportunity to be heard. If you haven't looked at it yet, I encourage you to find the time in the coming days using the email that was sent out yesterday.
